Just Being is a conversation: a conversation with ourselves, and with others in the teams, organisations and communities that we are part of. It is a conversation with Africa, Africans and friends of Africa. It is an opportunity to reflect on the emerging stories of our lives, landmark moments in our stories and how we can consciously and deliberately steer our stories into the future. It is a challenge to develop the capacity to courageously tell our own stories as they emerge - the good, the bad and the ugly. A challenge to just be ourselves. In just being, we discover ourselves, accept ourselves and fully apply ourselves to the stories of our lives.
