The Avatar Way of Leadership

The Avatar Way of Leadership builds an Indian model of leadership by using insights of Jungian psychology, tales of the Avatar of Hindu mythology and real examples of contemporary Indian leaders. It offers a unique perspective of leadership as a process comprising three successive stages: Developing character, building relationships and devising good strategies. Character attracts people. Relationships turn attraction into loyalty. Good strategies lead to victory and help sustain attraction and loyalty. Three Avatars have been chosen for this model: Rama, Krishna and Draupadi, representing different leadership archetypes. Each archetype of leadership is explained with references to Indian leaders like President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, Ratan Tata, Dhirubhai Ambani, Narayan Murthy and Azim Premji among others, who have shown the same kind of leadership pattern in their life. Find out who represents which Avatar and you will know how to be the same kind of leader yourself.
